The 2009 St. Patrick’s Day Parade “Irish Stew” will be much larger than last year as the momentum for the event builds. The Parade will again be along Main Street on March 14th 2009. Several of Visalia Restaurants will be featuring their best Irish faire for the entire weekend – and that’s no blarney!Spectators and the wee ones wishing to catch a glimpse of the Leprechaun should arrive early with chairs to mark your favorite vantage point and to see some of the best Parade participants in the community. Fun for the entire family. Coming soon is the next event sponsored by the Events Visalia Foundation the St. Patrick’s Day Parade “Irish Stew” a wonderful blend of all cultures, nationalities, and traditions. The parade is scheduled for the Saturday prior to the actual St. Patrick’s Day on March 15th and will again be on Main Street. Parade participation applications are available on the Contacts Page. All are encouraged to submit early to reserve their spot in the parade.
